"OSHA has resources to keep workers safe from heat
With CoVid 19 and some states and local municipalities still requiring face coverings, employers need to assess the risks as workplace temperatures and humidity rise.
Friday before Memorial Day is Don't Fry Day, which calls attention to the risks of sun exposure and skin cancer. Remember to cover up or use sunscreen. OSHA has numerous heat illness prevention resources. Water, rest, and shade are as important on the job as off duty.
