Site Hazards | The hazards at the site include, but are not limited to hazards from machining and fabrication operations; permit required confined space entries; hazardous energy sources and high voltage electricity; fire hazards; material handling hazards associated with the use of cranes, hoists, slings, and powered industrial truck operations; spray finishing operations; abrasive blasting; grinding, welding and cutting operations; elevated heights; caught in between and struck by hazards; and musculoskeletal hazards. There are health hazards which include elevated noise levels; airborne contaminants; heat and thermal stressors; and contact with hazardous chemicals. The site does not use chemicals considered to be highly hazardous and in sufficient quantity to place the site under the Process Safety Management (PSM) Standard. |
