Agriculture is one of the most dangerous industries in the country and abroad. For the last 77 years, in efforts to bring attention to the risks of working in agriculture, the third week of September has been recognized as #NationalFarmSafetyAndHealthWeek. This year’s theme: Farm Safety Yields Real Results.
As we head into the fall harvest season, one of the busiest and most dangerous seasons of the year for those in the industry, advocating this year’s theme is vital as its message implies safety practices not only protect lives but also yield profitable results for the farm.
