Writer's picture: Region IIRegion II

🌀 Hurricane Season is well underway in the U.S. 🌀

It’s important to keep in mind that hurricanes can happen along any U.S. coast—and inland areas hundreds of miles from shore can also experience destructive winds, tornadoes, mudslides, and floods from storms. The best thing to do? Prepare and plan ahead before a hurricane strikes.

Hurricane Preparedness Tips:

- Know your Hurricane Risk

- Make an Emergency Plan

- Know your Evacuation Zone

- Recognize Warnings and Alerts
