"FYI – A 21 JUL 2017 safety recall has been issued by Genie Industries for certain aerial lifts. (The Genie Safety Notice is also attached – PDF file.) Genie Industries has found that weld debris in the boom tubes could lead to premature and excessive wear of the upper wear pads. This excessive wear can lead to potential damage to the boom tubes and could cause the platform to drop. Please share this information with your contractors and industry colleagues."
