"In case you missed it, OSHA published a new VPP Policies and Procedures Manual this past January, and it includes changes in how VPP will operate in the future.
The sweeping changes touch many important subjects, including ways of participating, incorporation of non-VPP related guidance documents, consideration of enforcement activity in reviews and evaluations and returns of certification and recertification applications when OSHA personnel are unavailable.
Join us October 29, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. Eastern for a meeting with OSHA Director of Cooperative and State Programs, Doug Kalinowski, and VPPPA Chairperson, Terry Schulte, to discuss the contents and implications of the new changes.
Topics will include:
Ways to Participate in VPP
Site Based
Mobile Workforce
Corporate Based
Whistleblower Protection Enhancements
Changes in Recommended Practices for Safety and Health Programs
Changes in Application Approvals and Reapprovals
Changes in Training for VPP Audit Teams
Changes to Responsibilities and Expectations Within OSHA
To address as many of your questions as possible, please submit any questions you would like to be addressed by October 16 to Sierra Johnson at sjohnson@vpppa.org, or via this submission form. You may also click here to view the new VPP Policies and Procedures Manual.
We hope you will be a part of this important conversation. There is no cost to attend.
